Summer Registration for Academic Programs Will Open end of March
Belton ISD is offering multiple summer programs to support students academically and athletically throughout June and July.
Academic Programs
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
June 1-18 (no Fridays) from 7:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
All elementary programs will be held at Southwest Elementary. Transportation to Southwest from a student’s home campus will be available. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost.

Summer Adventures in Learning (SAIL)
- Eligible current K-5th grade students
- To attend SAIL, students must meet eligibility requirements. Home campuses will reach out with invitations for students to register in April
- June 1-18 (no Fridays) from 7:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
- Reading, writing, and math lessons + 1 enrichment course (K-4)
- Reading, writing, math, and science lessons + 1 enrichment course (5)
Bilingual Summer Language Program
- Current PreK-3rd grade students
- Multiple Programs
- Bilingual/ESL (PK-K): June 1-18 & 22-25 from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (no Fridays)
- Dual Language to includes Spanish Learners (K-3): June 1-18 from 7:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. (no Fridays) *This is a first come first serve until seats are full.
- Newcomer (3-5): June 1-18 from 7:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. (no Fridays)
- Enrollment coming soon for our Bilingual Summer Programs.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
June 1-18 (no Fridays) from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Middle school summer programs will be held at South Belton Middle School except for PE for original credit which will be at Belton New Tech High School. Transportation to SBMS or BNTHS from a student’s home campus will be available. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost at SBMS.

Students Owning Academic Responsibility (SOAR)
- Eligible current 6th-8th grade students
- To attend SOAR students must meet eligibility requirements. Home campuses will reach out with invitations for students to register in April.
- June 1-18 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (no Fridays)
- Students will strengthen their reading, writing, science and math skills, so they feel confident transitioning to the next grade level.
PE Original Credit

At Belton New Tech High School or virtual

Current 8th graders
- PE is for original credit and is open to all students that need to meet their PE requirement for high school.
HIGH SCHOOL
June 1-18 (no Fridays) from 8:15 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
High school summer programs will be held at Belton New Tech High School. Transportation to BNTHS from a student’s home campus will be available.

Credit Recovery and PE Original Credit
- June 1-18 (no Fridays) from 8:15 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
- Credits will be recovered or earned through the online platform Edgenuity. Students can come to campus for support from content-specific teachers or work from home with approval from the home campus.
- Students may recover as many courses as they can during these 11 days.
- PE is for original credit and is open to all student currently in 8th-11th grade.
EOC Boot Camp
Students who are in need of retesting a STAAR end-of-course exam may sign up for an EOC Boot Camp:

Attendance Recovery
- June 1-18 (no Fridays) from 8:15-11:30
TSI Opportunities
Temple College TSIA Boot Camp will host for any student that needs TSIA for dual credit or college entrance. Information coming soon.
